To be honest, it's not much of a secret! The part of the day where I have to think about what to cook for dinner that night is one of the most stressful times for me. My brain is already feeling frazzled after teaching most of the day, asking children to do the same thing multiple times and coping with tears, tantrums and resolving kid conflicts!
So...I found a time that I do like to meal plan. Funnily enough, I like making lists. I like planning my week ahead and thinking about all the wonderful things that I'm going to achieve! Yes, I'm a bit of a dreamer but at least some of it gets done!! When one of these moments grabbed me, I stacked all of my favourite cook books in front of me and a piece of paper.
I wrote down all the favourite recipes that I loved making and a few that I would like to try. I had so many that there were enough meal ideas to last me for a month.
